The European summerschool in quantum chemistry (ESQC-00) has been arranged for the seventh time in September 2000.  This 'extra' summer school has been arranged in Italy as a collaboration between the Universities of Bologna and Lund (ESQC is normally arranged every odd year in Sweden. The next 'ordinary' school will be arranged in 2001).

The school has been arranged in the village Riolo Terme, located in Romagna on the eastern slopes of the Appenines between Bologna and Rimini.
